Wiki Malolos website launching make history today

The website launch of Wiki Malolos with the theme "Our City. Our Wiki." was successfully held at Casa Real today, December 6.
Wiki Malolos is the initiative project of Marcelo H. Del Pilar National High School Grade 11 HUMSS students with their project head, Frederick John A. Macale. The project with its 18 categories is designed to engage users of any age to participate in acquiring and sharing information about Malolos City, Bulacan. It aims to preserve the history of Malolos and story of Maloleรฑo and connect those in general public.
"Ang focus kasi ng Wiki Malolos ay history para maipaalala sa mga bata na ganito (ang kasaysayan), pero hindi lang sa mga bata kundi pati sa mga matatanda kasi may ibang mga taga-Malolos na hindi nila alam ang ganoon," Marvhie Binwag, Editor of Institusyon Category under Wiki Malolos said.
Binwag added that in her personal opinion, the website is already 60% polished, just perfect for launching and being able to cater facts and interactive activities for users.
She also mentioned that in working for contents and articles in Wiki Malolos, they gathered legitimate references and connected with professional partners for proofreading and validation.
To secure the authenticity and accuracy of everything that is on the website, users can create an account. Their account could also help them to actively contribute to the categories in the site.
Jacinto Salvador, OlC of MKPP Casa Real praised the students and all the people behind the project as he believed the website will help lots of people in terms of knowledge and facts in the time of modernization.
"Ngayon nakikita ko na kayong lahat ang dahilan para ma-excite, para manabik at para maging masaya dahil sa panahon ng disinformation at misinformation na lumalaganap sa bansa, mayroon tayong isang buong grade level na kasangga sa pagpapalaganap ng kasaysayan at katotohanan," Salvador said at the end of his speech.
With the project successfully made, its initiative is hoped to apply in all municipalities in Bulacan in later times.
